The Juice follows Juicy Larry in 80’s Los Angeles, where hair is king, and where the streets and the hairstyles are run by the powerful Fro Gang, led by their larger than life leader, Afro Malone. A freak accident and a botched protest leads to Larry becoming an pariah, losing his identity and sense of worth. All alone and desperate, Larry creates a product that will forever rock the hair community, called “The Juice.” Becoming a kingpin in his own right, he takes over the streets and hair community of South Central LA, with an iron fist and runs a rival hair empire to his former beloved Fro gang. Soon, greed, jealousy, and power take over Juicy Larry, leading him and his gang, the Juicers, to make life-altering decisions before it’s too late.
